Description : - He/she will be responsible for design & development of the assigned subsystems and/or components related to electronic hardware and software algorithms. Preparation of the preliminary design and final design. Also responsible for the qualification and production launch of the assigned subsystems on time, while maintaining cost objectives and a suitable level of quality.
-Oversee design of new and redesigned components, to improve quality
-Design, develop and test algorithms for wet and cold line controls
- Manage agency approvals of hardware when required (CE, FCC, and UL).
- Coordinate and support efforts required through the Model Shop, Test & Evaluation Lab, Reliability testing, and other wet& cold line departments/ groups
- Prepare and direct preparation of engineering documentation
- Analyze cost of engineering programs for budgetary analysis. Coordinate and support purchasing, marketing, and other groups to define/refine costs in support of project objectives

Qualifications :

B.Sc. In Electronics and electrical communication engineering.
3 – 5 years experience in a similar field.
Experience with failure analysis, electromechanical design, and software packages: ORCAD, CADENCE, MS Office, and LabVIEW
.
Software programming experience in C/C++ and assembly.
Experience with Microprocessors such as ST, PIC and Atmel microprocessors.
Motor Control theory and application including scalar and vector, with all motor types.
Competent with basic tools and instruments such as oscilloscope, multi-meter, data logger, etc…
Must demonstrate creative ability through invention or equally significant contributions to profession
Ability to prioritize and plan effectively.
Progressive analytical and calm approach to problem solving.
Ability to work within a team with diverse backgrounds.
Foreign languages are a plus.

*Reports to: Refrigerator and Washing Machine Performance Manager. There are regular external contacts and communications with foreign partners ,potential suppliers , product designing offices , Overseas research Universities and Institutes , local research & Suppliers
